Nantwich Inner Wheel held a Festive Garden Day at the home of member
Chris MacLellan and her husband Ian, in aid of International Inner Wheel Charities. The weather was fair and visitors were able to wander round the lovely garden and take part in a Garden Quiz devised by Deana Emerton.
There were various stalls including a Bottle Tombola a children's tombola, a book stall and a plant stall stocked from members gardens.

The Craft Stall sold items made by Past President Chrissie Weaver.
There was painting area for children, supervised by Pam a very patient primary school teacher, and a potters wheel for visitors to try.
Tea and cakes baked by members, and including our host Ian's famous
scones, were served in the garden by the talented kitchen team Jane ,
Pauline,Alison and Angela accompanied by the strum of a guitar played
by Colin Jacklin, President Helens son in law.

We were grateful Karen, Halton Farm, Congleton for donating a
magnificent food hamper as the prize for the Garden Quiz which was won
by District International Officer Pat Hopkins' husband.
We were pleased to welcome several visitors from District and other
neighbouring IW clubs .
An excellent sum was raised for International Charities and the money
will be divided between DEC for Ukraine and Medicines sans Frontieres.
Thank you to our hosts Chris and Ian and to everyone who helped make
the day a success.
